About

Our Story

In 1985, a group of concerned citizens came together to raise funds for the fledgling Saanich Peninsula Hospital, a full service community hospital serving over 30,000 households on the Saanich Peninsula and Gulf Islands.

Our Team

Our team is small, but mighty! The Foundation employs a full-time Executive Director and Donor Relations Manager, as well as two part-time Assistants and an Event contractor.

Our Board

Our Board of Directors comes from all parts of the Peninsula and from all walks of life. They are comprised of 15 directors, all elected by the membership of the SPH Foundation.

Our Supporters

This section is dedicated to all of the donors, volunteers, sponsors and community partners – your peers – who give kindly of their time and money to support the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation. Each has a unique story and relationship with the Foundation, and we are honoured to consider them partners as we continue to promote healthcare excellence for the Saanich Peninsula and Southern Gulf Island communities.

There are so many ways you can get involved with the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation. Love to volunteer? Join us for one of our exciting annual events, or even help around our offices. Do you want your community to understand your business’ commitment to corporate social responsibility? Sponsor an event through our Commerce for Care program, or even consider creating a Corporate Matching Gift program to bolster your own staff’s philanthropic efforts.

Legacy Giving

After talking to donors for 20 years, I know that some want to have an immediate impact; others want to leave a longer-lasting imprint.
