Despite the downpour, 12 teams came out on Sunday to compete for the Golden Bed Pan Award at The Q!’s Bed Races on Beacon. They were cheered on by a great crowd that kept the adrenalin running as they pushed hospital beds down Beacon. Over $50,000 total was raised with partial proceeds going to support the Shoreline Medical Society’s Youth Clinic. Congrats to CCM for winning the race for a second year. Also, big shout out to Shoreline Medical Centre Sidney for being the top fundraiser AND best costume AND team spirit. Thanks to the many volunteers who made this event possible. See you next year!
