Our Hospital at the Heart of Community Health Care
With the increasing population of the Saanich Peninsula there is a continued and increasing need for quality health care right here in our community. Over the past 38 years donor support has ensured that our small rural hospital has become equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and staffed with highly trained specialists. Our hospital, with its three Operating Rooms, Emergency Room, Acute Care, Long-term Care and Palliative Care units is well respected for its quality of care and as a workplace. It’s our job to ensure that this continues. Saanich Peninsula Hospital is a place where physicians, nurses and allied healthcare professionals want to work, and the Foundation continues to support the highest standards in patient care. Since it was founded in 1985, by a group of concerned citizens, the Saanich Peninsula Hospital & Healthcare Foundation has raised more than $70 million for a multitude of projects.
