We couldn’t ride together this year due to physical distancing requirements but we still wanted to hold our annual ride in memory of Denis Muloin, and to raise funds for our Palliative Care Unit. Thank you so much to everyone who rode this past weekend on our Virtual Denis Muloin Bike ride for Palliative Care. Denis’s family and close friends rode together in a socially-distant way (group picture includes Denis’s children, father, wife and a few friends.) Riders of all ages were involved, it’s so nice to see Denis’ son Kevin and grandson Royce preparing for the bike ride. It was a great day and we all enjoyed the ride this year. We had a picture sent in of John Curnow ready for a bike ride in memory of his friend and neighbour, Denis. Also submitted was a picture of Janice Brown on her bike, ready to go! And our own Karen Morgan managed a short ride, but, she admits she’s not a natural!

We’re so happy to know that Denis’s memory lives on, and grateful for all the donations made to our Palliative Care Unit in his honour. $3,265 was raised from the event this year. If you have pictures that you haven’t sent yet please send to info@sphf.ca
