Since 2022, surgical cases at Saanich Peninsula Hospital have nearly doubled. Our population is growing, waitlists continue to increase, and access to healthcare close to home is more important than ever.

Enhancing Surgical Services
Our hospital’s three operating rooms are in constant use. OR 1 and OR 2 handle surgeries ranging from cataract and gynecology to orthopedics, plastics, and urology. OR 3 is currently limited, but with upgrades and new equipment it can perform the same range of surgeries as OR 1 and OR 2.
Your gift will help us:
- Modernize all three operating rooms with state-of-the-art surgical equipment
- Add capacity for 250 to 300 additional surgeries each year
- Reduce surgical wait times for patients across our community
- Provide a better working environment for doctors, nurses, and surgical staff
