Denis Muloin managed the Russ Hay’s bike store in Sidney from 1984 until 2004 when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Denis spent his final days surrounded by family and friends at Saanich Peninsula Hospital. It was here that he and his family were introduced to the Palliative Care Program.

As a result of the wonderful care and support Denis and his family received, Mike Clermont of Russ Hay’s and Karen Morgan of the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation wanted to organize an annual cycling event in memory of Denis while also acknowledging the amazing work that the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Palliative Care Program does for this community.

Our goal is to raise funds to help support the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Palliative Care Program. The 2016 ride raised over $3,000.

Ride with us this year on Sunday May 28, and make a difference. Registration details coming soon.
