4th Annual Denis Muloin Bike Ride for Palliative Care is a huge fundraising success!
On May 27th, 2018, an enthusiastic group of riders of all ages, met at Lochside Park for the 4th annual Denis Muloin Bike Ride for Palliative Care. This year the event was a fun, family-friendly community bike ride along the Lochside Trail: a ride rather than a race!
The event was a great success with $10,700 raised! The Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation and the Muloin family were pleased to see the event growing this year, and a wonderful community atmosphere. Many of Denis Muloin’s family and friends were in attendance, taking the opportunity to remember a special man and the role he played in the cycling community.
Using the Personal Fundraiser tool on our website, this year Eric Andresen and his supporters raised $2,100, making him the winner of our Fundraiser contest, and a 3 night stay at Black Rock resort in Ucluelet. It was a photo finish with Jay Ranson bringing in $2,050 and Lesley Webb bringing in $2,035. We value each and every donation made to this important cause.
