This year we celebrated the 8th Annual Denis Muloin Bike Ride for Palliative Care, we remember Denis and others who have received care at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital’s outstanding Palliative Care Unit.

Behind the kind and compassionate care provided to patients in the Palliative Care Unit at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital is a team of incredibly dedicated staff. With your support, they are able to provide the best possible comfort and care to those facing end-of-life.

Denis was a beloved member of the Peninsula cycling community and the manager of Sidney’s Russ Hays Bicycle store for over 20 years. He passed in 2014 after a long fight with cancer, spending his last months in the Palliative Care Unit at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital.

In memory of Denis, we thank everyone who has been part of the ride these past 8 years. You have helped us raise awareness and funds for the Palliative Care Unit at SPH. For those facing end-of-life, and their loved ones, you have ensured our Palliative Care Unit and staff have everything needed to provide comfort and care during this most difficult time.
