Second Time Success!
Every fall our friends on the peninsula look forward to the Gala Evening to get dressed up, have a wonderful dinner with friends and enjoy music and entertainment. Last year’s Gala Evening became a Gala at Home, and we were really pleased with the incredible support that our sponsors and donors gave us to ensure it was a success. We weren’t quite ready to resume a large multi-person event this year (even though we would have loved to have seen everyone’s faces) so this year’s event was our second Gala at Home. New this year we added a Peninsula Variety Show, encouraging the community to submit short videos sharing their talents. This provided entertainment for all at-home attendees to enjoy. Our sponsors, donors and supporters pulled out all the stops to make sure it was an event to remember! Another delicious catered meal from Toque Catering was delivered to every ticket holder, and we virtually toasted each other as we watched the Variety Show put together by Foundation staff.
Thanks to our donors’ incredible support we raised $95,350 and counting! This will make such a difference to our healthcare and our hospital.
We sincerely hope everyone who purchased a ticket had a lovely evening.
